Chapel of Santo António da Neve
Booking
The Santo António da Neve area is made up of the Chapel of Santo António da Neve, which dates back to 1794, and 3 snow wells, certainly older than the chapel.
This is a place with a very significant historical and heritage relevance for Castanheira de Pera, because, in addition to being one of the most important areas of Serra da Lousã, it is there that all the history relating to the profession of Neveiro is present.
It is also a place of union where every year the Meeting of the Mountain Peoples takes place, bringing together communities from the entire surrounding region.
