In this lively village there are vegetable gardens, goat herds and many activities that promise to surprise.

Part of the Network of Schist Villages, this village is integrated in a panoramic road that connects it to Trevim, the highest point of the Lousã mountain range (1204 metres altitude).

It is obligatory to stop here, let yourself be involved in the Lousitânea project and visit its various spaces.

In this village, all the experiences you can enjoy were created and developed together with the village population.

From how to make bread and cheese, to cultivating and harvesting corn, picking and piling chestnuts in the village reeds, discovering walking routes along the paths once travelled.

Currently, due to the age of the inhabitants, the legacy has been passed on to the younger ones, assigned to this project.
