The Bosque das Memórias (Forest of Memories) consists of 12 trees made of phenolic compact and recycled plastic, representing each of the mountain ranges of Portugal, with sizes proportional to their altimetry, and was conceived by the artist Dulce Pedro.

Its interior is designed to be filled by visitors with phrases in the shape of leaves, aiming to record, in a special and original way, the most significant moments of life.

The Bosque das Memórias (Forest of Memories) is integrated into the Baldios de Vila Nova (Vila Nova Commons).

The Baldios de Vila Nova (Vila Nova Commons) are located in the parish of Vila Nova and are considered the viewpoint of the municipality of Miranda do Corvo.

Covering approximately 600 hectares, they offer visitors stunning landscapes, exuberant fauna and flora, trails and walking routes.

The precious biotopes, natural areas of ecological value, host a large and diverse community of animals and plants. To date, 103 species of terrestrial invertebrates, 5 amphibians, 4 reptiles, 21 mammals, and 48 plants have been identified.
