The Peneda River Beach is located on the Ceira River, between the Açor and Lousã mountain ranges.

It is situated in the heart of Góis, features a weir and a vast grassy area.

It also boasts an impressive landscape, dominated by tall and majestic mountains.

Awarded with the “Bandeira Azul” ("Blue Flag"), “Praia Acessível – Praia para Todos!” ("Accessible Beach - Beach for Everyone!") and “Qualidade de Ouro” ("Gold Quality") certifications, the Peneda River Beach has a range of support facilities, including a bar with a terrace, ramps and sanitary facilities for people with reduced mobility, picnic area, parking (one reserved spot for people with disabilities), first aid station, as well as a privileged view of the royal bridge of Góis and quick access to the historic center of the town.

As part of the “Praia Saudável” (“Healthy Beach”) application, the beach has been equipped with an amphibious chair.
