Capril da Serra is a project aimed at reviving and promoting the ancient practice of shepherding.

Here, visitors have the opportunity to experience "A Day with the Shepherd," accompanying the management of a herd of Serrana-Ribatejana goats in their natural habitat.

During the tour, visitors can learn about the fundamental role these animals play in vegetation management and fire prevention, as well as discover the secrets and daily routines of shepherds.

This activity, suitable for all ages, combines tradition, sustainability, and rural tourism, contributing to the promotion of the region and the preservation of a nearly extinct practice: shepherding.
