The building was constructed in the late 18th century in a late Baroque style.

It features a central portal displaying the family crest, with two rows of windows on each side, the ones on the noble floor being of a neoclassical design.

On the left side, there is a large gate revealing the tower of the private chapel. Today, it houses the vineyards that produce the internationally recognized wines of Quinta de Foz de Arouce.

The winemaking tradition on the estate intertwines with its own history and property demarcation, and it is now the only known winery in the region, along with the cellar, contributing to the region's viticultural heritage.
