Just a few kilometers from Coimbra, in the municipality of Penela, in the village of Carvalhinhos, Casa BelaVista (Beautiful View House) was born out of a desire to create a space centered on nature, comfort, and authenticity.

After a phase of renovations, decoration, and adaptation, the space is ready to welcome those seeking tranquility, well-being, and attention to detail. An adult-only guest house, ideal for high-quality, discreet moments of pause.

A Meaningful Experience, Inspired by the Elements of Nature.

Casa BelaVista can accommodate up to 24 guests and offers three independent suites and three apartments, inspired by natural elements and rural activities:
Air – inspired by the element of Air
Terre – inspired by the element of Earth
Quintessence – inspired by Quintessence
Feu – duplex apartment inspired by the element of Fire
Celeiro – Loft and Atellier apartments.

Each accommodation has been designed to ensure privacy, comfort, and a harmonious connection with the surroundings. The suites include an independent entrance, a minibar, a private terrace, and wide views over the landscape. The infinity pool is open all year round and is heated between May and September, depending on the temperatures.

Table d’Eau – Local Flavors and Sharing at the Table.

Our table d’hôtes, inspired by the element of Water, offers artisanal breakfasts and, upon reservation, events for up to 50 participants, as well as intimate and carefully prepared dinners made with fresh, local ingredients. Meals are served in a peaceful environment, overlooking the hills and the ever-changing sky.

Bar Happen is the perfect place to wind down at the end of the day. It offers signature cocktails, a curated selection of wines, and special spirits in an elegant and welcoming space.
