The Serra de Santa Maria viewpoint is located in Cancelas, in the Serra do Espinhal, and from there you can see an incomparable landscape, with the beautiful village of Penela, topped by its Castle and the Sicó mountain massif, with each of its municipalities (Condeixa-a-Nova, Soure, Pombal, Alvaiázere and the municipality of Ansião).

The landscape richness of this place is complemented by the beauty of the shale landscapes, so characteristic of Serra do Espinhal and Serra da Lousã.
